Pinocchio Ain't Got Nothing On Me!

I'm a liar.

And what makes it even worse is that my lie is documented online.

Let me explain…

I love to read blogs. It is my one of my non-guilty obsession…I.LOVE.THEM. The list of blogs in my Google Reader is RIDICULOUS.

124 to be exact.

Of course it was only natural to want to write one.

I wanted to start this blog as a way to document my life, my daughter's life and to release some thoughts and share some pictures.

I wanted to have something my daughter could look back on when she got older, to learn more about herself and her Mother.

I think I put a lot of pressure on myself to make this blog interesting, fun, entertaining and on days when life got too busy or was anything but that, I honestly had nothing to write about.  All the pressure I put on myself actually made me not want to blog.

So I didn't and the blog went empty and I felt bad about it.

I would read my favorite Mommy Blogs and feel bad that I didn't have the same documentation for my own daughter and for my family. I really beat myself up about it.

Then I realized that this is my blog. I don't have anything to talk about for a few days, it's cool no biggie. Just because I can't find the time to blog, doesn't mean my life is boring. And when life is boring, I will cherish those times too. When I do find the time to blog, I'm sure it will be worth the read. (to me anyway)

I can't make this blog be anything but what my life is and who I am. So who am I?

I am a busy working wife and mother of 1 who just so happens to have a blog she updates every so often. I may do better blogging, I may not.

Whether my family's memories are in this blog, my daughter's baby book, photo albums at home or in my mind doesn't matter…what matters is that we are sharing them…and if I find the time…I'll share them with blog land.

So I lied.

And you know what. I'm ok with it now.
